SCHEDULE
The
Festival line-up will be announced in early May, 2012.
LOCATION
The
Festival’s hub is downtown’s premier entertainment complex – L.A. LIVE.
Most
of the screenings are at the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 with additional
films and events sat the Downtown Independent, John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, JW
Marriot, GRAMMY Museum, Grand Performances, REDCAT and 7thatFIG.
MEDIA
CREDENTIALS
Application
for press credentials will be available in April, 2012.
PASSES/TICKETS
Pass
and package sales begin in April.
Individual
tickets on sale beginning May 29
VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES
The
Festival relies heavily on the hundreds of talented and hard-working
volunteers. Details and sign-up

INTERN
OPPORTUNITIES
The
Festival offers a broad array of unpaid intern opportunities. See below for details.
FESTIVAL
INTERNSHIPS
There
are a limited number of unpaid internships available in the Festival’s
Management and Programming Departments beginning in January 2012. Both departments require strong office and
administrative skills. Interns are
required to work a minimum of one day per week for a minimum of 12 weeks.

line.
Unpaid
spring internships are also available in the following departments:

Filmmaker/Guest
Hospitality
Marketing
Programming/Submissions

Sponsorship/Fundraising
Technical/Projection
Depending
on the department, the internships are either May 1 – July 13 or June 1 –
30. Interns are required to work one day
per week and then be available full-time between June 11 – 27. Candidates for
all other departments should submit a resume to
lafilmfest@filmindependent.org. Spring
Intern applications are accepted beginning March 1, 2012. Candidates interested
in the Sponsorship/Fundraising Department should send resume to
development@filmindependent.org
